Today episode of “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” started with an intense conversation between Armaan and Abheer. Armaan, filled with regret, confides in Abheer about how a single mistake almost cost him his family and brother. He asks if one mistake can lead to such severe consequences. Abheer, trying to console him, explains that every difficulty comes with an expiration date and reassures him that they will gradually make Rohit understand.
In a parallel scene, Ruhi and Rohit were having a heated argument. Ruhi admitted her mistake, saying she should have told the truth earlier. However, Rohit, still angry, retorted sarcastically about the value of her truth. He recalls how he left home upon discovering Ruhi and his older brother were together. Rohit had hoped that leaving would set things right, but instead, Ruhi had also driven Abheer’s sister-in-law out of the house. He accuses Ruhi of deceiving him, saying she avoided marriage with him to indulge with her boyfriend. Enraged, Ruhi slaps Rohit.

Suddenly, Ruhi’s scarf catches fire, and Rohit quickly puts it out, asking if she is okay. Ruhi becomes emotional, but Rohit remains unmoved, accusing her of pretending to be good and saying he won’t be swayed by her fake tears.
In the third scene, Vidya and Ramadant are having a conversation. Ramadant questions Vidya’s actions, but she turns the question back to him, asking why he slapped Rohit, knowing his health was fragile. Ramadant argues that being ill does not excuse disrespecting his elder brother. He blames Vidya and their mother for trying to bring the two together, causing more chaos. Vidya responds that she now prioritizes Rohit’s happiness over Armaan’s. She laments that a mother always ends up hurting one son or the other. Ramadant apologizes, admitting he might have taken out his frustration on her, and they agree they need to mend the rift between their sons.
Unbeknownst to them, Ramadant’s brother, Sanjay, overhears their conversation. He decides to take advantage of the conflict between Armaan and Rohit. Sanjay, holding a grudge against Armaan for forcing an apology from him and Abheer, plans to use their feud to oust Armaan from the farm, believing it will fall into his control as neither Manoj nor Rohit can run it alone.

In the fourth scene, Armaan is sleeping and wakes up to see someone dressed as a teddy bear approaching him with a knife. Initially thinking it’s a dream, he goes back to sleep. Upon realizing it’s real, he starts screaming for help, only to discover it’s Abheer playing a prank. They share a light-hearted moment, with Armaan expressing his love for Abheer but asking her not to surprise him like that again. Their playful banter turns romantic, but their moment is observed by Rohit, who becomes angry and resentful seeing them happy together.
In the fifth scene, Vidya and Masa are discussing kitchen matters when Armaan arrives, asking for tea. Masa leaves, and Armaan changes his request, saying he doesn’t need tea but suggests Vidya prepare sweets for Rohit’s prayer.
The sixth scene shows Ruhi bringing medicine for Rohit. Although Rohit starts to take it, he remembers the slap from the previous day and accuses Ruhi of having no genuine concern for him, suggesting she might have tampered with the medicine. He then leaves to play hockey, clearly still bitter.

In the seventh scene, Vidya and Ramadant return from their prayers, hoping for Rohit’s recovery. Abheer arrives, furious, questioning if they prayed for Armaan at all. She criticizes them for accommodating all of Rohit’s unreasonable demands, saying they should guide him onto the right path instead of indulging his whims. She points out that they stayed silent when Rohit declared he wanted no relationship with Armaan and even when he humiliated their grandfather. Vidya explains that as a mother, she loves both her children equally, but right now, Rohit is more hurt and needs their attention and care.
The episode ends on this poignant note, highlighting the complex dynamics of the family and setting the stage for further drama.
