In an attempt to comfort him, Jaya recounts an incident from Vaiju’s childhood when she fell from the terrace trying to retrieve another child’s kite stuck in a tree. She reassures Rannvijay that he should not blame himself for Vaiju’s current state and that he can make amends by treating her well once she recovers.
The doctor’s final update shatters any remaining hope: Vaiju’s body is not responding to the ventilation support, and he declares her dead. Overwhelmed with grief, Rannvijay vows not to let Vaiju go. The episode ends with this heart-wrenching scene.
