In the episode of “Jhanak” airing on August 6, 2024, Jhanak experiences a moment of pride. Following a brief period of drama, Jhanak delivers an outstanding performance that earns her applause from the judges. The judges are so impressed that they give her a standing ovation. This recognition makes both Jhanak and her mentor, Rudra, very happy. Rudra, who discovered Jhanak’s talent, also receives respect and admiration due to Jhanak’s remarkable performance. Jhanak is overjoyed by the praise, and Rudra feels an immense sense of pride in her achievements.
However, the episode takes a dramatic turn when Brij, a character with ill intentions, promises to ruin Jhanak. Shrishti, another character, arrives at the event and meets Brij. Brij tells her that Jhanak is taking part in the dance show, and Shrishti decides to handle Jhanak herself. She mentions that Arshi, another competitor, does not even want to hear Jhanak’s name. Anirudh, another key character, notices Shrishti talking to Brij.
Rudra, in an effort to keep Jhanak motivated, cheers her up and tells her that he will watch her performance and feel proud of her success. He encourages her to focus on the Semi-finals and clear the round to reach the Finals, aiming for the winner’s trophy. Jhanak seeks Rudra’s blessings and gets ready to perform. Meanwhile, Arshi seeks Brij’s blessings, and he wishes her luck. Anirudh mentions that Arshi is recovering, and Brij, who is a mentor to the dance students, praises Arshi’s talents, declaring that no one can compete with her and that she will undoubtedly win. Arshi, however, confides that she is struggling with her dancing.

Pratiksha and her group hatch a devious plan to spike Jhanak’s tea and make her lose the competition. They meet Jhanak, pretending to wish her success, while secretly planning to sabotage her. Jhanak, unaware of their intentions, wishes them well and advises them to focus on their own performances.
In another subplot, Lalon visits Bose’s house to meet Appu. Appu is upset that Lalon did not come earlier, but Lalon explains that frequent visits might raise objections from her family. Appu insists that he visit more often, but Lalon says he has to make arrangements for a function in his locality. Appu expresses her desire to sing at the function, despite Lalon’s hesitation. She insists on attending, eager to hear Lalon’s song as well, and Lalon reluctantly agrees to wait for her.
Back at the dance show, Shrishti, who is also a judge for the semi-final rounds, introduces Arshi to the shoemakers. Brij reassures Arshi, promising to guide her on stage. However, Arshi expresses her desire to perform on her own without any cheating. Shrishti insists that Brij will help all his students, but Brij does not mention Jhanak’s name. As Jhanak gets ready, Pratiksha and her group plot to ensure Jhanak cannot dance. Lalon, meanwhile, struggles with his feelings for Appu, who proposes marriage to him. Despite his initial hesitation, Lalon admits he likes Appu just the way she is.

As the show begins, Anirudh and Arshi watch closely. Pratiksha spikes Jhanak’s juice and sends it to her. Arshi, meanwhile, questions Anirudh about Jhanak, suspecting he knows more than he admits. Anirudh denies trying to find Jhanak, but Arshi does not believe him. He advises her to focus on her victory instead of thinking about Jhanak.
Pratiksha ensures that Jhanak drinks the spiked juice. In the next episode, Jhanak’s entry on stage shocks Arshi and Anirudh. Arshi asks Anirudh if he knows who Jhanak is, and Anirudh says he doesn’t. Jhanak, stunned to see Anirudh, must now face the challenges his presence brings. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager to see how Anirudh’s presence will affect Jhanak.
