Rishi enters the room and is surprised to find Malishka sitting alone in the dark. Concerned, he asks her why she is sitting in darkness. Malishka responds with a comment about the darkness, but Rishi, wanting clarity, turns on the lights and urges her to explain what she wants to say. Malishka admits that she wants to stay with him. She passionately reminds Rishi of how much she loves him and how she married him without hesitation to help him gain custody of Rohan. Rishi acknowledges her sacrifice, expressing his gratitude.
However, Malishka is not satisfied with his thanks; she desires his love and asks him to express his gratitude to Lakshmi instead. This ignites an argument between them, as Rishi asserts that he loves Lakshmi and cannot offer Malishka the love she seeks. Frustrated and hurt, Malishka leaves the room.

Shortly after, Anushka approaches Malishka with a serious revelation. She advises Malishka to be cautious, as she has realized that Lakshmi has been planning this all along. She even reveals that Lakshmi was recently talking to Rohan, suggesting that Lakshmi’s aim is to enter the Oberoi mansion. Anushka warns that if Malishka doesn’t act quickly, Lakshmi will succeed. Neelam, Anushka, and Karishma head to Rano’s house. Upon arrival, Lakshmi invites them to sit, but Neelam is in no mood for pleasantries. She accuses Lakshmi of pretending to be a good person and asserts that she knows Lakshmi’s true nature. Shalu, Lakshmi’s sister, defends her, arguing that the Oberoi family is being unreasonable and rude. Lakshmi, however, urges Shalu to remain calm. Neelam continues her tirade, warning Lakshmi to stay away from Rohan and making it clear that she only considers Malishka as her daughter-in-law.
Meanwhile, Ayush observes Harleen and Rishi arguing and inquires about the matter. Rishi reveals that Neelam, Anushka, and Karishma went to Rano’s house in the middle of the night, predicting that their visit would lead to a confrontation. Ayush insists that Rishi should go there immediately, prompting Rishi to leave, with Harleen and Ayush following him.

Back at Rano’s house, Lakshmi calls out to Neelam as she is leaving. She clarifies that she has no intention of entering the Oberoi mansion. After Neelam and the others leave, Lakshmi reflects on how the Oberoi family has misunderstood her. Determined to avoid further conflict, she decides not to speak to Rohan anymore.
Returning home, Neelam informs Malishka about her warning to Lakshmi. She also reveals plans to hire the city’s best lawyer, Mehra, to strengthen their position. Malishka, familiar with Mehra, agrees to invite him. Anushka, however, remains anxious, fearing that if they lose the case, Lakshmi will gain entry into the Oberoi mansion.
Rishi and Ayush arrive at Rano’s house to meet Lakshmi. They have a private conversation, during which Lakshmi explains the events that transpired. Rishi and Ayush offer their support, but Lakshmi insists that this is her battle to fight alone.
