In today’s episode of Kundali Bhagya, aired on 4th September 2024, the celebration of Raksha Bandhan takes center stage, bringing with it a mix of emotions, tension, and family bonding. The episode begins with Nidhi expressing her concern to Shaurya about Rajveer becoming Kavya’s priority. Nidhi feels uneasy, as she perceives that Kavya is getting closer to Rajveer, which could alter the dynamics of her relationship with her brother Shaurya.
Shaurya, however, dismisses Nidhi’s concerns, insisting that Kavya is his sister and no outsider, including Rajveer, can change that. He advises Nidhi to stop worrying about such trivial matters and take some rest. Although Shaurya outwardly appears confident, it’s clear that Nidhi’s words have impacted him. He silently contemplates the situation, realizing that Kavya prioritizing Rajveer might not be fair. Shaurya decides he needs to find out who Kavya will tie her rakhi to first, as this could indicate where her true loyalty lies.
The next day, the Luthra family gathers to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. Dadi and Rakhi, feeling a bit nostalgic, mention that they no longer have anyone to tie a rakhi to. However, Kareena, in a more positive tone, expresses her gratitude for having Mahesh by her side. The atmosphere lightens as Preeta and Rajveer join the family. Rakhi inquires about Shaurya’s whereabouts, and Kavya promptly calls him to join the festivities.
As the family prepares for the traditional aarti, Dadi instructs both Shaurya and Rajveer to sit together. Kritika performs the aarti for Karan, while Kareena does the same for Mahesh. Kavya, excited about the occasion, performs the aarti for both Shaurya and Rajveer. She expresses how fortunate she feels to have two brothers to celebrate with. The moment of truth arrives as Kavya ties the rakhi on Rajveer’s wrist first, and then on Shaurya’s. This subtle act does not go unnoticed by Shaurya, who seems affected by Kavya’s choice.
The celebration continues with Preeta bringing out a tray of laddus, which immediately excites Karan. His love for sweets is evident as he declares his intention to eat all the laddus himself. Kareena and Rakhi, ever mindful of health, remind Mahesh that he shouldn’t indulge in sweets. However, Mahesh, seizing the festive spirit, argues that it’s okay to enjoy the treats on such a special day. Karan enthusiastically takes several laddus, much to the amusement of the family, who joke about how Karan and Mahesh are behaving like children. Meanwhile, Nidhi watches the family interaction with irritation, feeling sidelined and overshadowed by Preeta once again.
The exchange of gifts follows, with Karan giving Kritika a special present, making her smile and embrace him warmly. Mahesh, being the modern man, transfers money directly into Kareena’s account, telling her to buy whatever she desires. Shaurya gives cash to Kavya, explaining that he found it difficult to choose a perfect gift for her. Rajveer, on the other hand, hands Kavya a cheque, explaining that his salary had just been credited, and he didn’t have time to withdraw cash.
The arrival of Palki and her family adds another layer to the celebrations. Rakhi expresses her happiness at seeing Palki, while Kareena seems puzzled by their presence. Daljeet, Palki’s mother, asks Kavya about her well-being, and Kavya reassures her that she’s fine. Daljeet then apologizes to Preeta for past misunderstandings, to which Preeta graciously responds, asking her to let go of the past. Karan chimes in, expressing his gratitude towards Daljeet for not letting Preeta stay at her house, as this led to Preeta and Rajveer coming to the Luthra mansion. Nidhi, however, silently seethes, determined to find a way to remove Preeta from the house.
Kavya, who seems to be the star of the day, tells her brothers that she doesn’t want cash or cheques as gifts. Instead, she desires something unique from them. Rakhi, curious about Kavya’s request, asks her what she truly wants. Kavya reveals that her happiness lies in being surrounded by her family, and she’s grateful that her marriage to Varun didn’t take place, allowing her to stay with her loved ones. She insists that they all think positively and focus on their collective happiness.
In a surprising turn, Kavya then expresses her wish to see both Shaurya and Rajveer get married, leaving Palki and Shanaya blushing at the implication. As the ladies of the house discuss shopping plans, Nidhi continues to feel increasingly neglected, noticing that no one seems to care about her feelings. Amidst this, Palki glances at Rajveer with a shy smile, creating a tender moment that doesn’t go unnoticed by Shaurya, who quietly retreats, feeling a pang of jealousy. Nidhi, observing Shaurya’s reaction, feels a mix of sympathy and frustration.
