The episode of “Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein” aired on 18th August 2024 begins with a delicate moment between Rajat and Savi. Rajat notices that Savi’s dori (the string of her blouse) has come undone, and to make matters worse, some juice has spilled on her blouse. He contemplates how to help her without making her uncomfortable. At that moment, Nisha arrives, seeking Rajat’s signature on some documents. Rajat, seizing the opportunity, asks Nisha to assist Savi instead.
This sparks a bit of an argument between Savi and Rajat, as Savi seems to misunderstand his intentions. However, Rajat remains calm, instructs Nisha to help, and leaves. Nisha, trying to defuse the tension, assures Savi that Rajat is a genuine gentleman. She also points out that not only has the juice spilled on Savi’s lehenga, but her blouse is affected too.
Meanwhile, Ashika finds herself stranded as her car breaks down on the way to the event. Frustrated, she scolds the driver for the inconvenience. Back at the event, Lucky, the host, announces the much-anticipated performance by Savi and Rajat. However, both are initially reluctant to perform, possibly due to the awkwardness from their earlier interaction. But, with some persuasion from their cousins, they finally agree. Their performance to the lively song “Jor ka Jatka” turns out to be a hit, with family members joining in, making the atmosphere joyful and celebratory.

On another front, Aman and Mrunmayi, who have been dealing with their own issues, find themselves in a situation where they need to talk things out. After drinking some sharbat, Aman tries to speak with Mrunmayi, but she isn’t interested in listening. However, when her bracelet falls off, and they begin searching for it together, a moment of connection arises. Aman recognizes the bracelet as the one he had gifted her, and as they find it under the table, they also seem to find a way to mend their differences. Unbeknownst to them, Lucky observes their reconciliation from a distance. Seeing them getting closer under the table infuriates him, and he vows to find a way to separate the two.
As the event progresses, Ashika finally arrives at the venue, only to discover that the function has ended. Disappointed, she decides to visit Savi’s house to give her a gift she had brought. On her way out, she bumps into Bhagyashree, who takes the opportunity to mock Ashika. Bhagyashree hints at revealing the identity of Rajat’s future bride, but before she can spill the details, Raju intervenes and stops her. Soon after, Shantanu arrives and escorts Ashika to meet Savi.
Once inside, Shantanu explains the situation to Savi, urging her to handle it with care. When Savi and Ashika finally meet, Ashika presents Savi with a lavish diamond necklace as a gift. Savi, sensing that there is more to the gift than meets the eye, initially refuses to accept it. However, Ashika insists, and Savi, realizing that this is a veiled attempt to bribe her, reluctantly accepts the necklace. As their conversation continues, Ashika notices Savi’s mehendi (henna) and asks her to bring some sweets.
While Savi is away, Ashika spots a mug that was gifted to Savi by Sai. Upon seeing the photograph on the mug, Ashika quickly pieces together that Savi and Rajat are planning to get married for the sole purpose of gaining custody of Sai. When Savi returns with the sweets, Ashika, having confirmed her suspicions, declines the offer and hastily leaves.

Ashika then heads straight to Rajat’s house, determined to confirm what she has just learned. She knocks on the door, and it is opened by Bhagyashree. Without hesitation, Ashika asks if it is true that Rajat is going to marry Savi. Bhagyashree confirms the news and, with a touch of spite, tells Ashika to prepare herself for losing the custody battle. She then slams the door in Ashika’s face, leaving her stunned.
The episode concludes with a dramatic precap. Milind blesses Savi, wishing her happiness. However, the atmosphere takes a sudden turn as Savi stops the sangeet ritual and makes a shocking announcement: the wedding will not take place. She boldly declares to Rajat that he will not be able to gain custody of Sai, setting the stage for an intense confrontation in the upcoming episodes.
