The episode begins with Lavanya expressing her concerns to Chirag. She tells him that out of her three children, he understands her the best. She is puzzled as to why he doesn’t comprehend her worries about him. Chirag, on the other hand, is equally baffled by her inability to understand his stance.
Lavanya is anxious about societal perceptions of their family, and Omkar, trying to mediate, asks Chirag why he is reluctant to marry. Chirag candidly admits that he isn’t ready for marriage yet. Frustrated by his mother’s insistence on public opinion, he declares that he will not attend Prithvi’s tilak ceremony and walks away, leaving his parents calling after him in vain.
Meanwhile, at the Agarwal household, Manorama is ecstatic about the upcoming wedding, praising the affluent family that has showered them with gifts. However, Jahnvi, the bride-to-be, is not happy. She admits she doesn’t want to marry Prithvi because she’s in love with Chirag. She expresses her reluctance to go through with the tilak ceremony, but Manorama, concerned about the potential loss of this prosperous alliance and its associated luxuries, sternly warns her to change her attitude.

The conversation shifts as Manorama picks up Deepika’s sari, prompting Shobha to caution her against touching it, implying malicious intentions behind the gift. As Deepika passes by, Shobha and Manorama once again indulge in character assassination, attributing wrong motives to her. Chirag, who arrives to deliver the tilak invitation cards, overhears their derogatory remarks.
Deepika, visibly upset by the slander, insists she has done nothing wrong and cannot tolerate the assault on her character. Shobha notices Chirag’s presence and invites him in, while Deepika leaves in tears. Mistaking Chirag for Prithvi, Manorama encourages Jahnvi to get to know him better. Jahnvi is delighted until Shobha clarifies that he is Chirag, Prithvi’s elder brother. Manorama apologizes and formally welcomes Chirag, who mentions he came to deliver the invitation cards. Shobha offers him coffee, to which Chirag replies that it was too bitter the last time, and leaves. He notices Deepika’s sari discarded on the floor and is saddened to see her crying.
The next day, the Mittal family prepares for the tilak ceremony. Prithvi wants to go, but Payal playfully mocks him. Roshni asks Lavanya if she looks pretty, causing Lavanya to panic. Saloni reassures Roshni that she looks beautiful and takes her away. Payal and Chirag observe Lavanya’s dismissive behavior. Omkar suggests they leave, but Lavanya insists she will come later. Payal complains to Chirag about Lavanya’s rudeness towards Roshni, noting that Lavanya’s focus is solely on Prithvi’s wedding.

At the Agarwal house, the family also prepares for the ceremony. Lavanya calls Shobha, instructing her to bring only Jahnvi, excluding Deepika. Shobha agrees, promising not to bring Deepika. Chirag overhears and questions Lavanya about her disdain for Deepika’s presence at the event. Lavanya argues that a maid doesn’t deserve respect and attention, but Chirag counters that she is the one giving Deepika undue importance. Lavanya concedes but insists that Deepika’s presence would spoil her mood. Shobha deceitfully tells Deepika that the car is full and she should wait for the next trip, locking her out of the house. Deepika, unaware of the ploy, agrees and waits.
At the venue, Prithvi eagerly anticipates Jahnvi’s arrival, praising Chirag’s arrangements and taking selfies with him. Yashwant arrives first, and Chirag introduces him to the family. Lavanya, as usual, ignores Yashwant, while the rest of the family engages with him warmly. Deepika waits for the car to pick her up, unaware of the deception. Jahnvi tries to catch Chirag’s attention but fails. Chirag, missing Deepika, is disappointed by Jahnvi’s superficial behavior.
In the precap, Deepika is shown hurrying to the event on her scooter, which then breaks down. Determined, she runs towards the venue, hoping to arrive before the ritual begins. At the ceremony, Jahnvi embraces Chirag, prompting Lavanya to slap her. Jahnvi confesses that she doesn’t want to marry Prithvi and instead loves Chirag, causing a stir among those present.
