The episode begins with Jahnvi abruptly snatching away Deepika’s pooja thali, leaving Deepika stunned and hurt. Jahnvi walks away, yelling at her, and Chirag notices the commotion. Jahnvi proceeds to present the pooja thali to the gathered ladies. When the ladies inquire about the idol in her thali, Jahnvi lies, claiming she prepared the idol herself. Her mother, Shobha, supports the lie, boasting that Jahnvi worked tirelessly to mold the idol. Lavanya and the other guests shower praises on Jahnvi for her supposed talent, but Chirag is disgusted by the deception.
As the moon appears, the priest tells the women to look at it through a sieve and then break their fast. Jahnvi, however, deviates from the ritual; instead of looking at her husband, Prithvi, she looks at Chirag through the strainer, silently vowing that Chirag will break her fast. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, a cook is frying chilies, and the pungent smoke spreads throughout the house, causing everyone to cough uncontrollably. Amidst the chaos, Prithvi notices Jahnvi coughing and, in a caring gesture, feeds her water, thus breaking her fast. Simultaneously, Deepika is also coughing, and Chirag, concerned for her, offers water. Deepika hesitates, mentioning her fast, but Chirag assures her that the time is up and gently feeds her water. The smoke eventually dissipates, and Deepika stands shyly as Chirag breaks her fast.
Afterwards, Payal comments to Jahnvi about her luck that Prithvi broke her fast, and Saloni playfully says she will now call Jahnvi “bhabhi.” Jahnvi, however, is seething with anger. Determined to have Chirag break her fast instead, she follows him and insists that he feed her water. Chirag, frustrated, tells Jahnvi to accept that fate has chosen Prithvi as her life partner and firmly pushes her away.
The next day, Shobha admires the saris and jewelry Lavanya has gifted for Jahnvi. Yashwant, noticing this, asks if Deepika has received any of these saris. Shobha assures him that she selected a sari for Deepika as well, presenting a black sari. Deepika is initially happy, but Yashwant is furious, interpreting the gift as a cruel joke about Deepika’s complexion. Just then, a delivery boy arrives with a parcel. Lavanya expresses her concern about Prithvi’s tilak ceremony scheduled for tomorrow, stating that she wishes her elder son would marry first.
