After much persuasion, Rannvijay agrees to participate in the Dahi Handi competition. The Sarpanch and villagers leave to make the necessary arrangements. Meanwhile, Jaktab, while being transported in a police van, manages to unlock his handcuffs. When a constable steps out to clear a tree branch from the road, Jaktab seizes the opportunity and escapes.

Back at home, Jaya and Vasundhara are busy decorating a swing for Lord Krishna in preparation for Janmashtami. Vasundhara mentions that it is customary for married couples to perform puja together. Sulekha remarks on Rannvijay’s busy schedule, noting how he left Jaya alone just two days after their marriage. Jaya defends Rannvijay, comparing his constant presence to that of Lord Krishna, who is always around even if not physically present. Vaiju decorates the swing, and Aaji comments that this is her first Janmashtami celebration since getting married.

Rannvijay and Kailash arrive with an idol of Lord Krishna, which Rannvijay and Vaiju place in the swing together. Jaya, looking at Rannvijay’s photo on her phone, follows suit by placing her own Krishna idol in a swing. Aaji requests Rannvijay and Vaiju to perform the puja and swing the idol together, while Jaya does the same alone at her place.

The scene moves to Jhumri Patan, where the Janmashtami Dahi Handi competition is happening. Rannvijay dons his customized T-shirt and prepares to participate. The Sarpanch announces the start of the competition and asks Rannvijay if he will break the handi. Confidently, Rannvijay asserts his readiness, but Vaiju steps up, challenging him. Aaji reveals that Vaiju is known for breaking the handi every year. Accepting the challenge, Rannvijay vows to defeat her and break the pot. As part of the ritual, Rannvijay breaks a coconut, and Aaji asks Vaiju to touch his hand in solidarity. Unbeknownst to everyone, Jaktab has infiltrated the competition, hiding his face with a towel.

The competition commences under a sudden downpour. Both Rannvijay and Vaiju begin their climb on opposite sides. As they near the top, Jaktab, hidden among the crowd, points a gun at Rannvijay. Vaiju spots the danger and heroically moves in front of Rannvijay, taking the bullet meant for him. The Sarpanch urgently calls for an ambulance while Vaiju, in her weakening state, urges Rannvijay to return to his village. Rannvijay, deeply concerned, instructs Aaji to go inside as he carries Vaiju towards the hospital.
Meanwhile, Jaya, oblivious to the unfolding tragedy, calls Rannvijay to ask about dinner plans. Rannvijay, focused on Vaiju’s critical condition, ignores the call. Ragini reassures everyone that as long as Vaiju is around, Rannvijay will be safe, but Jaya senses that something is wrong. The episode concludes with Rannvijay panicking as Vaiju loses consciousness in his arms.
